Cultivating Knowledge
Your Garden Journey, Simplified
Whether you’re a seasoned green thumb or have never held a spade, we’re here to bridge the gap between your backyard and your dinner table.
What is Home Harvest?
Home Harvest helps homeowners grow their own food at home with simple, professionally installed garden beds. We build and install wooden planter boxes and raised soil garden beds designed to fit your space, goals, and comfort level.
Do I need prior gardening experience?
Not at all. In fact, most of our clients are first-time growers. Our service is designed to be a “mentored garden.” We handle the complex infrastructure and provide you with a tailored seasonal guide that tells you exactly what to do and when. Think of us as your personal garden concierge.
How long does installation take?
A standard backyard transformation—including raised beds, irrigation setup, and soil enrichment—typically takes between 2 to 4 days. We work efficiently to minimize disruption to your home life, leaving behind a clean, ready-to-grow sanctuary.
What can I actually grow in my space?
The possibilities are nearly endless, governed only by your sunlight and local climate. We specialize in organic heirloom tomatoes, crisp greens, fragrant herbs, and root vegetables. During our consultation, we’ll assess your yard’s microclimate to create a custom planting palette that thrives.
What materials are provided?
We provide everything for a turn-key experience: sustainably sourced cedar for raised beds, nutrient-dense organic living soil, automated drip irrigation systems, artisanal trellises, and your first season of organic seedlings. We use high-end, aesthetic materials that age beautifully.
How much does a typical installation cost?
Each garden is a bespoke installation. Smaller starter configurations begin at around $449, while comprehensive backyard homesteads can range significantly based on scale and hardscaping. We provide transparent, itemized quotes after our initial on-site assessment.
Does Home Harvest guarantee gardening success?
No. Home Harvest does not guarantee plant survival, crop yield, harvest volume, pest resistance, disease prevention, or long-term garden performance unless expressly stated in writing.
Why are gardening results not guaranteed?
Gardening outcomes depend on many variables outside Home Harvest’s control, including weather, soil conditions, drainage, pests, wildlife, sunlight, watering practices, and seasonal conditions.
Can I rely on the planting guides and recommendations?
You may use them as general guidance, but you are responsible for deciding whether a recommendation is suitable for your property, goals, and growing conditions.
Does Home Harvest offer maintenance plans?
Yes. Home Harvest may offer maintenance plans such as monthly check-ins and more comprehensive care plans, subject to availability, scheduling, and service area limitations.
Can I reschedule my service?
Yes, rescheduling may be possible, but it is subject to availability and reasonable notice. Home Harvest also reserves the right to reschedule services where necessary due to weather, unsafe conditions, material shortages, or other factors outside our control.
Are deposits refundable?
Deposits are generally non-refundable once the project has been scheduled, planning has begun, or materials have been purchased or allocated for the booking.
Does Home Harvest guarantee harvest results or plant survival?
No. Garden outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including weather, sunlight, watering, pests, disease, soil conditions, and maintenance habits. For that reason, Home Harvest does not guarantee specific garden results unless expressly stated in writing.
Are plant selections always guaranteed?
Not necessarily. Plant selections may be subject to seasonal availability, supplier availability, and growing conditions. Comparable substitutions may sometimes be necessary.
